Aqualandia is the quintessential water park of our country. It’s a place where boredom doesn’t belong.

We have told you many times how proud we are of having been the first water park in Spain and, for a long time, the largest in Europe. Since our beginning, we have been committed to a new type of family fun: a leisure alternative that brings together many factors such as water, the good weather of our beloved Benidorm, relaxation, speed, etc…. Different attractions for all tastes.

Amongst our visitors, that group of people who look to Aqualandia for a more extreme type of fun has always stood out.  Those who want an endless release of adrenaline. For those adrenaline junkies, attractions have gradually been added that will make a day at our park seem more like a test of courage – a day of intense emotions.

The feelings of fear and speed are relative to all people.  For some, a 10-meter fall is a lot, while for others the height of our Verti–Go (33 meters) is nothing at all. That’s why, although we only put some of our attractions on the list of rides for adrenaline junkies, it doesn’t mean that the others are not exciting for anyone – every person is different. Here are our recommendations for an extreme experience – although a day in our water park has to be balanced with moments of adrenaline and moments of relaxation.

As we have already said, the star attraction for those who love risks and heights is Verti-Go, the last of our additions for extreme fun. The gravitational acceleration of the ride exceeds 100 km/h. It’s the highest slide of Europe (33 meters), and the highest capsule slide of the world (28 meters). Do you know what jumping from the 13th floor of a building is like? On Verti-Go, you’ll find out. Three seconds of free fall seem like nothing, don’t they?  Nevertheless, the feelings you’ll experience during those three seconds will be remembered for a very long time. Two slides, a single tower, adrenaline and more adrenaline. Do you dare?

But if you want to train your body a bit before getting on our star attraction, don’t worry.  We have many other rides for you to feel the speed and to get a great rush. One of our classics is our Big Bang – a unique attraction with four slides that will give you a spectacular free-fall feeling. Four slides, four colors, four ways to enjoy and have fun, four ways to free fall. There are two free-fall slides that are open and have a steep slope.  You don’t go down at 90 degrees, parallel to the tower, but you do go quite near. Their colors are yellow and blue. The green slide is covered and has a significant dip in height at its start. Next to the green slide is the red one, entirely open, with a dip in its height halfway through. Yes, you will think you’re going to fly off the slide – but don’t worry, it’s safe and the sensations it gives its riders are unparalleled.

We love to experience the speed of a free fall! The feeling of risk (controlled risk, that is) helps release tension and produces happiness in many. For this reason, Aqualandia offers these two attractions and a few more, like the Smooth Slides and the Zig-Zag, where riders can have fun while feeling strong, one-off emotions.

There are many water parks, but none quite like ours. There are very few weeks left before our opening day: fans of adrenaline, we’re waiting for you.
