The final countdown is underway for Europe’s largest water park to throw open its gates once again and officially fire the starting gun for the summer season. Aqualandia brings the summer forward and does it a way that only this park knows how to, by offering first rate new attractions and the best possible fun, awash with water.
The park opens to the public on Saturday 18th May, at 10 am and the first 100 children to arrive will be given free entry. This has now become quite a tradition at Benidorm’s aquatic complex and year after year, opening day sees thousands of youngsters gather at the entrance gates from very early in the morning and some even camp overnight in eager anticipation. Nobody wants to miss out on the fun which Aqualandia has been offering for the last 28 years.
Aqualandia, water fun , full of history
This year the park is 28 years old and is getting ready for a season which promises to offer many surprises. Aqualandia is known for being Europe’s largest water park, with the highest number of fun-filled, nail-biting rides. Among them, Big Bang, a series of slides offering differing intensities, thought up for all those who love excitement. This attraction is one of the highest in Europe and stands at 30 metres high with a 66% descent.
Black Hole, Pistas Blandas, Rápidos, Wave Pool, Zig-Zag and Splash will give you just a taste of the wide variety on offer at Aqualandia, which will all be back on offer from 18th May onwards, which is when the water park opens again to the public.
