Being a lifeguard at Aqualandia means being one of our most important employees: safety is one of our pillars and our lifeguards are one of the most important pieces in that equation.
They are young, responsible, and have experience and training. And you can be one of them. Would you like to work with us as a lifeguard? Well, here’s a chance to train and, thus, be able to get your name into our selection process.
For yet another year, Aqualandia is organizing lifeguarding courses alongside the Domingo Devesa Training and Tourism Center of Benidorm with the collaboration of the Lope de Vega International School. It’s a complete course that is essential to be able to work at Aqualandia and at many other establishments like ours. Are you interested? Here’s how you can participate in this training.
This course is aimed primarily at unemployed people over 16 years of age who pass a series of prior selection tests. The tests, which will be undertaken at the Lope de Vega International School, include the following:
- Swimming: speed and endurance.
- Rescue: strength and resistance.
The course will be held in three formats:
- From March 12 to May 4, Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM (selection test on March 2).
- From March 24 to May 12, Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and Sunday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (selection test on March 3).
- From March 25 to May 13, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (selection test on March 3).
The students of this course will learn about the organization of a water park, likewise learning how to act when faced with an emergency at this type of park and mastering the different swimming styles required for emergencies.
To register, you must fill out the electronic form at the virtual registration office at www.cdt.gva.es. Remember to attach a copy of both sides of your identification card or authorization (don’t check the box on the form) and DARDE (employment request document).
Now you’ve got all the information you need to be able to train and be a great lifeguard at Aqualandia. If you are interested in the job and have some experience, sign up. We are waiting for you to learn a lot and, hopefully, to share experiences this summer. Don’t delay!
