The big day already happened and we can only send you thousands of thanks for the great welcome that you have given us for the opening of Aqualandia Benidorm in our 2017 season.
As was expected, we opened our doors on May 27 to once again start up a season that we hope to share with all of you. The months to come will be full of what we like to call super-emotions!!!
Thousands of you gave us a unique day for which we can only say thank you, thank you very much! For yet another year, you have put your trust in us and you wanted to partake in one of the most important days for us: our grand opening.
We had been weeks preparing, getting each area ready, reviewing our facilities, training our staff. These have been intensive weeks making sure that everything was perfect for you. They have been weeks of nerves and excitement that have had the best reward: you!
The high temperatures with which we say farewell to the month of May have been our best allies and, thanks to them and to you, the 27th was a day to remember on which thousands of you shared unforgettable experiences while enjoying the more than 20 cutting-edge attractions that the pioneer water park in Europe has to offer.
The great water fun festival was once again held at Aqualandia Benidorm: locals, tourists, and inhabitants of neighboring cities all came to our reopening. The most intrepid remembered some of their best moments on the Verti-Go, the Zig-Zag, the Black Hole, etc. The kids had fun in Adventureland and on the Mini Zig-Zag.
There was time for visitors to recharge their batteries in our bars and restaurants, and to greet the most fun characters who live in our park: our mascots. Additionally, the wave pool, the Grand Jacuzzi Iguazu, and the Lagoon offered moments of relaxation for when visitors were a little tired from so much adrenaline.
But that was not all: not only were we reunited with workers who we see year after year and who we have grown very fond of, and you went down your favorite attractions time and time again, but you discovered what’s new for this year – two chairs with four different experiences and a virtual game room.
These are two new attractions that complete our array of leisure activities for the moments when we’re tired of water – or for if we need to rest after eating. The chairs will transport you to four unique situations such as the world of dinosaurs or being a rider on a roller-coaster. And the new game room will allow you to immerse yourself in a completely virtual game with zombies and spaceships. Surely those who haven’t tried it yet are looking forward to it.
32 years after the grand opening of Aqualandia Benidorm, we can say that for one more year we will have a summer full of success, fun, and super-emotions thanks to all of you. Water fun is still one of the main options in the summer for those from Alicante and visitors to the region, and our water park is your favorite choice.
