31 years have passed since Aqualandia first opened its doors in 1985. Since then, year after year, hundreds of thousands of visitors have enjoyed our attractions, which are full of adrenaline and on the cutting edge in the sector, as well as our family areas, kids’ areas, and relaxation areas. The range of activities we offer is as varied as the types of visitors who come to enjoy our park.
This season has been special because, just like what happened in previous seasons, Aqualandia added new experiences to its long-standing tradition of fun. In 2016, the largest water complex in Europe was visited by renowned international bloggers, leading tourism journalists, and well-known characters from television and films — and we mustn’t forget the most famous YouTubers of the moment. All of them have experienced firsthand the fun and excitement that oozes out of Aqualandia.
Amongst the well-known individuals who visited us this season, we must note the radio host who was recently awarded an “Ondas 2016” award for his work on “40 principales,” Toni Aguilar; the actor, producer, and screenwriter Luis Miguel Seguí; and the television personality Belén Esteban.
Additionally, famous international female bloggers on fashion and lifestyle have also showed off their colors at our park such as Hannalicious, Molly Rustas, Lisa Tellbe, Adaras, Maria Kragmann, Freja Wewer, Annabel Pesant, Hashtag by Lily, Fablefrique, Lovisa Barkman, as well as the male blogger MattG Style. Likewise, mothers who have blogs about their daily experiences, their trips, etc. have visited us such as Practically Perfect Mums, Crinviaggio, Familjeliv, Komikerfrue, and Cana Buttenschon.

The park also received a visit from the comedy actor Orjan Buroe and, of course, from influential people in the travel sector such as Rachel Heller, Dutchified Blog , Wandering Wives, Live Like Tom, and White City Boy.

All of these experiences have served to assist Aqualandia in receiving prizes such as the Travelers’ Choice prize, granted by the prestigious online travel portal, TripAdvisor. Said prize acknowledged Aqualandia, in 2016, as one of the best water parks in Spain and Europe based upon votes from site users. Established in 2002, these prizes are the most important awards given annually by the largest travel website in the world and they are characterized by being the only ones which are based solely on millions of opinions and comments from travelers from around the globe who evaluate service, quality, and customer satisfaction in terms of hotels and lodging and even destinations, attractions, brands, and products.
That’s why, after several months of death-defying drops down VERTI-GO, fun competitions on the Smooth Slides with friends, relaxing moments in the Jacuzzi, and games played in Adventureland alongside the little ones, it’s time to once again to wrap up another season in order to begin to work out how to create new dreams and adventures at a park that has already become a leader for fun and essential for the summer.
